The dossier

Appearance: Auntie Fliss, almost as old as Granny Enid, shares the wisdom and experience of their century-long lives. With her seemingly harmless appearance and reliance on a walking stick, she easily blends in. But don’t be deceived by her frail exterior; Auntie Fliss is a force to be reckoned with.

Personality: Auntie Fliss is a master of deception. She uses her walking stick not for support but as a weapon. Luring children into a false sense of security, she suddenly reveals her true prowess as a ninja. Her combat skills are unparalleled, and her agility defies her age.

Lethal Moves: Auntie Fliss’s ninja skills include devastating roundhouse kicks and fiery punches. However, her pièce de résistance is the power stick – a walking stick that transforms into a weapon of incredible force. With a swift motion, she whacks her unsuspecting victims on the head, leaving them dazed and defeated.

Cave Life: When she’s not practising her ninja moves or chasing down children, Auntie Fliss enjoys the quieter aspects of life. Her cave is adorned with beautiful flowers she lovingly grows, adding a touch of nature to her otherwise deadly home. She also has a vast collection of books, which she reads in her downtime, immersing herself in stories and knowledge.

Fun Fact: Auntie Fliss’s love for gardening is well-known among the Toe Monsters. Her flowers are the envy of many, and she takes great pride in her green thumb. Her dual life as a gardener and a ninja makes her one of the most intriguing Toe Monsters.

Warning: Children, beware! Auntie Fliss may appear as a harmless old lady with a walking stick, but she is anything but. Her ninja skills and deceptive nature make her a formidable opponent. If you see her, it’s best to keep your distance and avoid any sudden movements – you never know when she might strike!

Habitat survey

Inside Auntie Fliss’s cave

Somewhere in Cheddar Gorge — the exact spot is a secret, and the cave has an inconvenient habit of not being where it was — is where Auntie Fliss lives. The survey photograph below was taken quickly, and the surveyor did not stay for tea.
